About six months or so. Kinda got caught up in somethin'. Took me a while to disentangle myself.

The last place I was before I came here was LA. It's a good place to lose heat followin' you [Even if you can pick it up there, too.] Figured it's been a while since you been home so I thought I'd bring you somethin' back.

[ As soon as the feed was cut he shut his own off and moved to gather up some off the mess and throw it in a basket near the bed, It was almost laundry time again meaning Doyle's room was kinda trashed again. Granted he's been spending A LOT of time in there. The coffee table was covered in demon books again, along with a open almost overflowing box of stuff Wanda left for him when she left. He needed to ask Steph if there was anyway to make his room bigger, he was running out of room. He'd never had that problem in LA given he was almost never home.

He made sure to unlock the door before he'd started straightening up.]

[She comes in with her hands tucked in her pockets, brows raising up. Her version of wrapping is one of those shiny gift bags, tied at the top with a piece of curly ribbon. And inside there's cheese (nice cheese, mind you) and a map of LA.

She's not expecting the state of his room, and her brows pop up as she stands in the doorway.] Damn, glad I got you somethin' small. If you're lactose intolerant or somethin' you can regift it.

Not been getting out much, huh? [She closes the door and heads over to glance at his giant demon reference section happening there.]

[ And a the half demon does like shiny gift bags. One never knows whats in them. He looked at her with a bit of a smile as he shrugged a bit.] Come on in, don't worry 'bout steppin' on nothin' it's fine. I'm reorganizin' a bit. And thanks love, you didn't have to get me anything but I gotta admit I'm happy to know you though o' me.

[ He moved over to the chair motioning for her to come on over and have a seat as he started closing the demon books to try and make more room.]

Somethin' like that, I'm not workin' anymore so I've kinda decicated my time to learnin' more about the things I aim to take down and such.

So you're actually gonna start fightin' 'em, huh? [She sounds approving, but she does wonder if she should. After all, what if he had to deal with someone close to him? Someone that he loved?

She pushes that thought out of her head. She's still not dealt with everything from that night in wormwood, not really.]

Technically I already was, I just sucked at it. I worked with a vampire back in LA savin' the helpess from demons and the like. I'm not sure I can go back home so I'm puttin' thought into Dean's world which sounds a lot like me own so, I wanna be of real use.

[ Looking over the map he smiled a bit at the map as he opened it up He looked over the map and nodded.] Looks to be exactly how I remember it. That was just two years ago for me, It was late november 99 before I came here.

[ Aka, when he died. Zeroing out a small space on the map he pointed to it looking to her. A very ghetto neighborhood.] That's where I used to live love.

[ that map was totally going on the wall somewhere. Who needs girly posters when you have bad art and pictures of Ireland? Now he could have a map of LA on his wall too.]

[She leans to look.] I bet the walks home were a riot. [She's not as familiar with LA, but she knows where that is.]

Think you're close to getting that ticket out of here? [She tries to not sound a touch disappointed at the idea; keeping connections has gotten harder and harder. Always moving, never looking back, severing ties with most people but her cat.

But she really knows better.] At least you'll still be kickin' but shit, boy. You'll have to box up a lotta stuff. Gonna go to LA there, you think?

When I first moved there, yeah. Everyone loved fuckin' 'round with the pale guy with the accent I do confess, but after a few months it got easier. [ he got mixed into the right ~~wrong~~ circles and started building his network and reputation.]

Actually [ He frowned a bit at that as he looked over the map a bit more then to her.] I think I was, but I'm messin' it all up again. It's my specialty, destoryin' things when they get good. You'll not be rid o' me just yet. 'Sides once I graduate I gotta play the system too, I got a few things I need taken care of before I can leave this hell hole for good.

Yeah, I think I own more now then I ever have in my whole life. I don't know if I'll box it all or do like Wanda and pawn half of it off. This [ The map.] and that. [ He pointed to the large picture of the irish countryside over his couch Aya gave him.] are definitely goin' with me.

I don't know where I'll go. I don't think LA'd be wise in case my old friends exist in Deans world. I don't want to mess up anyone's lives, you can understand that right?

Okay, I have to ask. I think you got a sort of sense of humor in there. You even got things you like and don't. So, what do you do for fun?

[A grin creeps onto her face.] I'd find one of the magic guys on the ship and ask them to make you a big bag that you could just carry all your shit in.

[She looks a little to the side when he mentions his friends.] Yeah. I get that. All my friends died 'cause fate was choosin' a victor. I think that part is bullshit. Coulda found a better way to work things out.

But yeah, makes me pretty nervous about hangin' with people, anymore.

Actually plannin' to ask Steph if she can get the Admiral to make this more of an actual room, you know so the bed's not right against the wall and what not. The whole tiny studio sounded great when I moved in, I wasn't really thinkin' long term. [ He wasn't expecting to live long term then. He had been depressed and recently divorced. So all he had wanted was something to keep him off the streets.]

I'll give it some thought.

If the lady Slayer was still around I'd tell you to talk to her, she knows all 'bout that. In our world one womans born every generation to fight demons and vampires. Pretty much a given if you know the slayer your probally gonna get killed. She's my former boss' exgirlfriend. Don't mention her at all to Dean though, words o' wisdom. Granted I think the whole destiny thing is bullshit meself.

You shouldn't be darlin', people need people. Its how the world works. Can't be aimin' to be lonely your whole life are you? [ He finally noticed something that he might have noticed sooner had he been paying more attention.] Love the hair by the way.

Thank you. [She tossles a hand through it. It's been trouble to take care of, but as if keeping up with dyeing it wasn't? Changing her appearance radically kept the cops off her trail, anyway.]

I'm the first Demon Knight that's a woman. All the other ones before me have been men. I'd ask her about it if she was around, but- [she shrugs] I don't get outa the fate thing so easily.

I enjoy watching films from time to time.
