[Jeryline's glad to get the hell off the boat, definitely. This past month had been some bullshit, she got to do a damn "two steps forward and nine steps back" dance with her inmate thanks to some mind-fuckery turning the ship topsy turvy, and she accidentally hurt one of her friends when she was just looking for a little comfort. She's eager to get off and visit somewhere very new, and it's not like the Admiral's terms seem that hard. She's lived under more rough conditions.

After triple checking to make sure Cleo has all the catfood she'll need and water and her litter box is nice and clean, she leaves the ship, accounting for a couple of inmates, and just decides to walk around the town and see what needs to be done.]

[ Aforementioned friend was making wasn't far ahead of her, making his way off in his favorite brown leather jacket, a few things inside the pockets for any port. The flask that used to carry whiskey was now filled with holy water and a few protection charms written on a paper shoved in another pocket. Two zippo lighters and about 3 packs of cigarettes hidden on him. He had no weapons of course, inmate and all but he figured he normally would have his celtic cross on, but it was hidden in someone elses jacket for now. He couldn't very well let his Warden go without something on her to protect her.

He was looking out at the port as he started to turn to look at something seeing the outline of Jeryline not far behind he turned to make sure he wasn't seeing things before he grined and just decided to lean against a wall and wait for her. ]

[Just like her warden, Bea is relieved to have an opportunity to stretch her legs and breathe air that hasn't already been through the lungs of everyone on board. The past month has been especially difficult, no lie, but she's done far less damage than she could have. If she ended up seven steps back, she at least tried not to step away. As angry as she still was, she was starting to consider the value of less violent philosophy, of a more peaceful approach to life.

Though maybe not so much in this port. The town was sleepy enough, sure, but the "wanted" posters and warning signs bespoke a danger around the community. And as bizarre as this place was, Bea was well aware that this was the kind of danger she did best in.

Hell of a bandit problem, huh?
